Our Guide To a New Moon Ceremony 🌙

Do you believe in manifestation? Marcello and I have had some pretty wicked experiences with it! Putting intentions into the universe and seeing them come to fruition is wild. And when your intention is realized, it may actually be very different than what you had in mind. But it surprisingly fits your journey.

If you know me, you know I'm interested in astrology, energy, manifestation, the purpose of life (a role of the Sagittarian), etc. I am constantly listening to words from people like Will Smith and Tony Robbins on topics relating to the Laws of Attraction. And if you're also interested in manifestation and how to live "an awesome life", I highly recommend the book "You Are a Badass" By Jen Sincero.

It's an ongoing journey of knowledge of these things for me. I am far from an expert on any of the topics, but it's difficult for me to withhold sharing what I've learned and what I practice. In an effort to combat perfectionism, I made a personal decision to accept where I am today along my personal journey, as a soul inhabiting a human body on planet earth. My motto is to "Experience. Learn. Share." And continue. That's what I aim to do each day. The more we experience, the more we learn; the more we learn, the more our knowledge expands and the more we have to share.

With that being said, take a moment to appreciate where you are on your own personal life journey. The New Moon is a time for new beginnings and new growth. It is a time to set your intentions with the universe. So think deeply about what you'd like to attract into your life and enjoy the ritual of a New Moon Ceremony. 🌙

Our Guide To A New Moon Ceremony:

What You'll Need:

(1) Items w/ positive energy*

(2) Bowl

(7) Paper + Pen

*Gather items full of positive, strong energy: we use photographs of loved ones, jewelry and heirloom pieces (both especially of natural stones/metals), crystals, etc.

After you've set up your space and when you're ready to begin your New Moon Ceremony, proceed to the following steps:

Step 1: Set the mood and energy. Turn off lights. Play calming music. Light candles. (Optional: Burn sage and “cleanse” each individual.) Begin with a prayer.

Step 2: Write down intentions.

Step 3: Each person announces their intentions verbally, takes action of "placing" each intention into bowl of bath salts via plucking and placing flowers/herbs into bowl and adding drips of essential oils.

Step 4: Solidify the intentions you've put into your energy bowl. Together mix the bowl now filled with bath salts, flowers/herbs and essential oils. Hold hands and pray. Thank the universe for listening.

Step 5: End the ceremony. Keep your salt bowl (now full of flowers/herbs + the energy of your intentions) with your list of written intentions.

Step 6: Read your written intentions aloud each night to the moon. Until the next full moon.

Step 7: On eve of the next full moon, take a bath using the salt bowl mixture from your new moon ceremony. During your bath, soak in the energy you've put into your intentions. Feel your written intentions and say them aloud one final time. Pray. Thank the universe for listening, and say aloud, ”These are my intentions, I've said them and it is done". Burn your intentions list. Your intentions have been felt deeply within you and you've put them out into the universe to be manifested. Now let the universe take its course!

(The next new moon is 8:25PM MT Wednesday, April 22, 2020; I will do Step 7 on the eve of the next full moon, May 6th.)
