Coffee Talk
Today I want to share with you insight on this awesome new coffee company, Lion & Lamb. They reached out to me to try their coffee and my initial thoughts were how could I not try it given "Lion" is in their name! More than loving the "Lion" in their name, I love how the company gives back. Lion & Lamb is a coffee company that donates its profits to charities like Action Against Hunger, Water.org, and Trees for the Future. Since beginning this year, they've given 454 meals, planted 1500 trees, and provided 7000 months of safe water to those in need! (Side Note: Reminds me of the book by TOMS founder Blake Mycoskie that I read years ago, "Start Something That Matters".)
How It Works (from their website):
We Roast
We roast the best coffee we can get our hands on. Focusing on small farm lots, creating a relationship with the farmer, and ensuring they get paid a fair price for their beans.
You Order
You purchase one or more of our delicious coffees from our online store. We roast it to order, and ship it to you immediately.
We Donate
We donate the profits from the sale of your purchase to clean water organizations. Go to bed knowing you made a difference in the world, wake up to great coffee.
They offer light, medium, dark, and espresso roasts with a couple organic options. And you can even pick your grind preference: whole bean, ground french press, ground pour over, and ground. They offer free shipping on orders over $25 and each 10 oz bag is $13.75, so ordering just 2 bags gets you free shipping. I tried the light roast and it is a bold and delicious way to start your day!

A dose of futon yoga with my morning coffee. ;)
